Overview
I love to travel the world with my family. When planning our vacations, we do research through the typical channels: travel blogs and review sites. However we always find ourselves wishing there was a quicker way to rank attractions and plot itineraries.
Sublime Trip is a travel research and planning mobile app for Android and iOS. The app allows people to post their itineraries, rate their lengths of stay in each stop, and rate the attractions they saw in each stop. This aggregate data is available to all users so they can see itineraries with common stops and determine how long they should stay in each stop to view the top attractions.
Under the Hood
Sublime Trip is a hybrid mobile app. It was created with Ionic, a framework for building cross-platform apps, and Angular. The back-end is an Express.js REST API with a PostgreSQL database.
